Julie lived a wonderful and full life. In her early years, she lived in Germany toward the end of World War II, where her father served in the military. After the war, her family returned to the United States, where Julie was raised under the loving care and influence of her grandmother—someone she often spoke about with deep fondness and gratitude.
A devoted mother, Julie raised six children and balanced her family life with a long career in a dental office. Her attention to detail and bright, kind spirit made her beloved by coworkers and patients alike—and her family can attest that she never missed a brushing.
Julie was known for her incredible sense of humor and infectious joy. Her animated expressions, quick wit, and playful jokes could light up any room. She approached life with laughter, resilience, and warmth that will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She loved peonies, God, and always cared for the stray animals.
Julie is preceded in death by her three husbands, and sons, Rocky Wilson, Chris Weiland, Joe Whitaker, and Mark Whitaker. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Fisher of Searcy, AR and her daughter, Darby Riales, Beth Whitaker of Salt Lake City, UT and Sharon Whitaker of Memphis, TN and her children, Jesse and Dalton Pritchett, and her stepsons, Jack Whitaker and Steve Whitaker.
Julie’s life was a beautiful blend of strength, humor, and love. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her laughter and light live on in each of them.
