Kathryn Gertrude Smith, 75, passed away December 18, 2016. She was born March 8, 1941 to the late Joseph and Margaret Raines. Kathryn was a graduate of Rhodes College and retired as an executive Assistant from Raymond James Financial Services. She enjoyed painting, photography, reading and riding her Harley. She is survived by her nephew, Larry Raines and her niece Debbie Raines McLean. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Murphy. Visitation will be held from 9- 10 am, Thursday, December 12, 2016 at Family Funeral Care with services to begin at 10 am the same day. Burial to follow at Memphis Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to an animal shelter of the donors choice.
