Services are Saturday, March 6, with visitation from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and funeral to follow at the Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave., in Memphis,Tennessee 38119.
Kevin was born on December 31, 1965, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Otis E. and Grace E. (Kirchhofer) Boldt.
Kevin graduated from Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois and Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.
Kevin's passion was playing tennis. At the time of his passing Kevin taught tennis to many in the Memphis, TN area. He traveled as an Assistant Tournament Director for Raquet War, which hosts competitive tournaments for adults.
Kevin is survived by his son, Ryan (RJ) Boldt of Collierville, TN; mother Grace Boldt of Effingham; sister Brenda Tipsword of Chillicothe, IL; significant other Shannon Franks of Collierville, TN; two aunts, two uncles, several nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Otis; brother Alan, his grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
