Lapsley Stuart Lindamood

Lapsley Stuart Lindamood was born on July 5, 1947 in Jackson, Mississippi to Mr. and Mrs. Edward C. Lindamood and died February 2, 2014. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in aerospace engineering and worked in the air conditioning business for 30 years. Stu was an avid pilot and a Major with the Air National Guard Reserves in Memphis. Stu is survived by his wife, Karen Lindamood and two daughters, Kelly Methvin (George) and Tina Sproull (Robbie) along with six grandchildren William, Sara, Katie, John, Emma and Catherine. Stu leaves behind a sister Mary Martin (Gale) and a half brother Bill Lindamood (Helen). Stu enjoyed scuba diving in his earlier years, traveling, and photography. Stu’s grandkids were the apple of his eye and he enjoyed spending the summers with them and they will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Chapel, Friday, February 7, beginning at 11 a.m. until the service at 12:30 p.m. with a private family burial.
