Larry Garland Cooksey

Larry was a devoted husband and father, and is survived by his wife of 60 years, Wilma Huggins Cooksey; his two sons, Rick (Karen) Cooksey and Steve (Jan) Cooksey; his four grandchildren, Jennifer (Bart) Prather, Ryan (Brooke) Cooksey, Adam (Crystal) Cooksey, Matt (Whitney) Cooksey; his four great-grandchildren, Adelyn, Isla, Caroline and Wyatt. Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother, Taft and Pattie Lee Cooksey.

He was a charter member of Covenant Baptist Church and a member of the Cornerstone Sunday School Class. He retired from Seabrook Wallcoverings after 49 years.

Visitation to be held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, March 19th, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Covenant Baptist Church, in Collierville, Tennessee.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Covenant Baptist Church (Post Office Box 1165, Collierville, Tennessee 38027).
