Lem Rayburn Eatherly III. A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 23 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Memphis Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Memorial Park. Mr. Eatherly was born on June 14, 1946 in Greenville, Mississippi. He died on November 21, 2015. He was the son of Ruth McGee Eatherly Griffith and Lem Rayburn Eatherly Jr. Lem was a 1965 graduate of White Station High School and attended Mississippi State University. He served as a drill sergeant in the Army from 1968 to 1971. He was in the automobile business for numerous years and he was most recently employed at Counce Marine Boat Center. Outside the love for his family, he most cherished times were his passion for fishing and spending time at his duck camp in Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Chad Eatherly. He leaves his sister, Ruth Eatherly Saed of Memphis, TN, his brother, Charles Eatherly (Cheryl) of Germantown, TN, nieces, Stacey Saed Ferguson, Stephanie Saed Hemphill (Mark), Christine Eatherly Cassat (Aaron) and nephew, Chase Eatherly (Melissa) as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
