Lowell B. Robison, M.D.

Lowell B. Robison, M.D., 73 passed away July 19, 2014. Lowell was born January 27, 1941 in Memphis, TN. He was a graduate of Central High School and Memphis State University and University of Tennessee Medical School. He trained at the former John Gaston Hospital as an intern and resident; and also was a rheumatology fellow. Lowell was in practice for 40 years in the Memphis area. He served as the Chairman of the Arthritis Foundation Tennessee Chapter and a Board member with the National Arthritis Foundation and the National Medical Assistants. He was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church. Lowell is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Pat Taylor Robison; daughters, Stacey Rose (Daniel) of Memphis, TN, Courtney Semisch (Bruce) of Oakton, VA; son, Trey Robison of Memphis, TN; grandson, Kevin Martin and sister Donna Robison of Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21 from 5 – 7 pm at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm at Calvary Episcopal Church with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or Calvary Episcopal Church.
