Luke Riddell Pruett

Luke Riddell Pruett, 16, of Germantown,TN went to be with the Lord October 1, 2010. Luke was a student at Evangelical Christian School where he was a Bible study leader and a member of the golf team. He loved his teachers and friends and he especially loved to read and write. Luke was a very active member at Bellevue Baptist Church and a member of Jeff Stovall's Bible Fellowship Class. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Lisa Pruett, sister, Sarah Ellen Pruett and brother, Christopher Michael Pruett. He also leaves his grandparents, Betty Pruett of Memphis and Charles and Shirley Biggers of Cordova; aunts and uncles, Aven and Mike Russell, Amy and Robert Trent, David Pruett and Emily Biggers and cousins, Maribeth and Rachel Russell, Laura, Gracie and Rob Trent and Spencer Pruett. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, at Bellevue Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue.
