

Lynn Quinlan, of Memphis, TN, formerly of Iuka, MS, died peacefully in her home Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at 83 years of age. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted M. Quinlan after 48 years of marriage. Lynn is survived by her son Patrick and his wife Bridgett and her daughter, Suzanne Quinlan-Zaledzieski and her husband Will Zaledzieski, both of Memphis. She was a loving grandmother to Matthew Quinlan, of Charleston, SC, Daniel Quinlan, Max Ingram, and Katie Quinlan, of Memphis. She has one great grandson, Carson Quinlan. Her parents were John Yarber and Minnie Moore also of Iuka, MS. Lynn was a member of Central Church in Collierville, TN and a retired nurse from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was a labor and delivery nurse in several hospitals as she and her family were stationed at many different military bases throughout the south while Ted was in the Marine Corp. The family settled in Memphis, TN in 1973. She enjoyed her career at Baptist East Hospital as a labor and delivery nurse and later as one of the first nurses to be trained on a special IV team administering chemotherapy. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband and helping to care for her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother; her caring and giving heart will be missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8pm and the funeral will be Monday at 10:00am at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue. Burial will be at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery following the service.
