Joy, laughter, goofy dancing-in-the kitchen fun — Maddy’s smile was pure light. It shined from a beautiful heart; a heart that loved Jesus and her children and helping others. She was a work of grace and a testament to God’s goodness.
At home, she raised three amazing children: Alexis, Jayden, and Ryan. She loved my daughter Sofia as her own. She was tender, wise beyond her twenty-nine years, patient, gracious, and could make anything fun.
She loved kids and dedicated her career to pediatric nursing, first at Le Bonheur, then St. Jude, and finally at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Maddy was a wonder; gentle, kind, caring, patient — yet also smart, strong, and very hard working. She was a teammate and coworker that lifted others up.
Dancing was spontaneous; anywhere, anytime, any music (or lack thereof). She would break out in a dance, pause, give you this goofy look and ask “like my dance?” — or “like my song?” if an original musical performance accompanied it.
There aren’t enough words to paint a picture of the amazing, beautiful woman she was. And speaking of painting – she painted beautifully too. My Mazzy, for that’s what I called her, was a one-of-a-kind genuine, beautiful, smart, strong, kind, patient, wonder. She was very loved.
She has a beautiful family. She is survived by her children Alexis, Jayden, and Ryan Linton; her mother Tammy Le; her father Phúc Hạnh Trần; her step-father Thomas Le; sisters Maria Tran, Mary Tran, and Rhesa Michelle Tran; nephew Phoenix Tran; and this man who wanted to spend his life with her, Whit Marbut.
