Mark was a lifelong mechanic, formerly employed at Chuck Hutton and FedEx Express--he bled FedEx purple. He had a passion for correctly diagnosing problems and fixing them the first time. He had a fascination for all forms of locomotion and enjoyed hobby trains and collecting tools. Mark liked to spend his spare time watching his goats and chickens grow and wander around his farm.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda. Mark is survived by his children, Laura East (Ryan Dunlap) and David East (Aurielle); granddaughter, Christine; and sister, Ellen Thornton (Ted).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7 beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral mass at 11:00 AM, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 11710 US-64, Somerville, TN 38068. Burial will immediately follow in Calvary Cemetery, Memphis, TN.
