Martha Jane Edwards Jones, 85, passed away October 12, 2017. She was born February 17, 1932 to the late Edgar G. and Corrine Clark Edwards in Stewart County, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband Wendell Edward Jones. She is survived by her son David Edward Jones of Memphis, TN. 4 nieces, 1 nephew and many friends that considered her their second mother. She was a retired teacher who took many of her students under her wing. She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11 -12 p.m. at Antioch United Methodist Church, 2575 Antioch Church Rd, Clarksville, TN 37040 with funeral services to begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Antioch Cemetery Fund.
