Mary Alcione (Al) Gunn, 78, passed away peacefully at her home late Monday evening after a long illness, surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Louie Gunn for 52 years. Together, they raised three children: Bill Gunn of New York NY, Laura Gunn Cummings of Durham NC, and Debbie Faulkner of Memphis TN. Alcione was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, devoting her life to raising and nurturing her family and sharing her faith. In addition to her husband and children, Alcione leaves behind her sister, Ann Todd, and two grandchildren, Shelby Faulkner and Ashley Cummings. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar has charge. Visitation will be Thursday night from 5-8pm, with a Funeral Mass on Friday Morning at 10:30am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, followed by burial at Memorial Park.
