MARY LOUISE HOFFMAN, 87, of Memphis, passed peacefully Tuesday, November 19, 2013, surrounded by her family and close friends. Born in Boulder, Colorado, she lived most of her life in New Orleans, Louisiana, enjoying the rich culture of the city. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 35 years, Albert Victor Hoffman, Sr. She is survived by her children, Albert V. Hoffman, Jr., Elmer “Mo” Hoffman, Carmen LeBlanc, Margaret Betancourt, Joe Cruz; sister, Della Castaneda and Elmer’s wife, Janet. She also leaves behind several grandchildren including Nick Hoffman and Victoria Hoffman. Visitation will be 9 a.m. on Sunday, with the service at 10 a.m. at Family Funeral Home, 4925 Summer Ave. Burial will be Monday, November 25, 10 a.m. in Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh LaGrange.
