Mary Heath “Frankie” Looney, 82, of Memphis, died December 12, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Memphis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bill Looney. Mrs. Looney leaves two daughters, Laura Looney Phillips of Verona, NJ and Kathy Looney Shobert of Washington, DC; son-in-law, John Phillips; and two grandchildren, John and Meg Phillips. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Farris and brother, William Heath. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 21 at Christ the King Lutheran Church. Inurnment will be held in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5296 Park Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119.
