He was retired from DuPont Corporation and a member of Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Delores Maki.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Logan Maki; son, John Maki (Heather) and grandchildren Olivia and Logan, all of Nashville, Tennessee; son, David (Tori) and grandchild Matthew of Carrollton, Texas; brother, Jere Lynn Maki (Jean) and family of Dallas, Texas; Michelle Chapman (Brian) and their children, Chelsie, Brennon and Jeremiah, all of Olive Branch Mississippi and other beloved family.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 25, 2018 from 10 A.M. until noon, with funeral services held at 12 noon, all at Longview Heights Baptist Church, 4501 Goodman Road, Olive Branch, Mississippi.
