Myron Medlin, 88, retired courtesy driver for Jim Keras, passed away October 15, 2019. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 1, 1930 to Clarence and Hazel Johnson Medlin. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he and his wife settled in Memphis where they lived together until her passing. Myron is survived by his son, Stephen (Wanda) Medlin; grandchildren: Landon (Heather) Medlin and Lauren (Scott) Edwards; great-grandchildren: Caitlyn Medlin, Christian Edwards, and Ethan Edwards; his brother, Macon Medlin, and sister, Ouida Dailey. Myron was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Helen Crosno, and by his wife of over 65 years, Dorothy Sue Medlin. Family will receive guests at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm. Burial and military honors will be held at West TN State Veterans Cemetery on Forest Hill-Irene Rd. on Friday at 10:15 am.
