Mr. Reeves was my history teacher in Earle Arkansas. I was also a member of the Earle Church of God In Christ and he was as great a Christian mentor as he was a teacher. I remained in touch with him after graduation and years later when I was an engineer in Chicago, Il., I came back and visited him at Cross Temple. He asked me back to preach. I had been looking for him in recent years and was not able to locate him. Rest well sir and enjoy your time in the presence of Almighty God. The World is better because of your time here.

Our Father in heaven, may Your Name be honored. There is none greater than You. You are our refuge and strength. You are always ready to help in times of trouble. We praise You, Lord. We lift our hearts with praise. It is good to sing praises to You, our God; how delightful and how right! Lord, You are great and mighty in power. Your understanding is infinite. We thank You, Father, for the life of Pastor Neal Reaves, who has gone on to be with You. Thank You for His time on earth and the impact He had on the lives He touched. God bless His entire family. As a college roommate Neal and my brother Tiny attended my churches and played jokes on me.  Example Neal would  disrupt my afternoon nap with Proverbial quotes: “How long ye simple ones will ye love simplicity … and fools hate knowledge?”  We had fun. Such quotes ultimately led him to ministry.  Elvernice 

I love you uncle reeves and I will really miss you, I will always remember the stories you told the church about how little I was when I was born but also how and amazing and smart young woman I have become. I know that your okay and happy now in heaven and I know that God has the best angle by his side now. I will truly miss your hugs and smiles and simply you in general but I’m happy that I know your okay and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 

I love you so much Uncle Reeves I will always remember the stories you told the church about me being so little but such an amazing little girl. I am so thankful that God blessed you to be my uncle and I will miss you very much but I know your in an amazing place and I know your beyond happy now. You will truly be missed but I know that now your okay. 

Pastor Reeves will truly be missed!! I met Pastor Reeves in 1992 and will say he never changed. I feel honored and privileged to have had him as MY pastor. When I describe him to others the first thing that comes to my mind is that he’s the manliest man I’ve ever met. Truly a man after God’s own heart. I remember him going to grandparents day with my oldest daughter Jarrica and he wouldn’t miss a year going until she made it to middle school when it ended. I had my second daughter Jaylynn almost 3 months early and he was there, praying over her and myself. The many times he would come to the hospital and pray for her and would always tell me she’s gonna be ok. The only person I know you could speak something in private and never here of it again. I could write a book about this man I called PASTOR!!! When we sleep he’s up praying over Cross Temple. He truly loved his church and members and we loved him. When losing love ones I would always ask God to just let me know they’re ok but this one I did not have to take that route. He’s one I know without a doubt is in the loving arms of the Father and His son. Pastor, you are truly missed already by myself and so many more. You will forever hold a very special place in my heart. I know your rewards are plentiful and crowns are filled with all types of precious jewels and you earned them honestly. God couldn’t in my mind given me a better Pastor and for that I’m grateful. Rest in love Pastor 🕊

There will never be enough words to express how great our pastor, N.J. Reeves was and will always be to us. He was the light of CrossTempleHoliness. He was the only pastor I’ve known and always connected with. He was dedicated to the ministry and LOVED everyone! His teachings of God has taught me to embrace wisdom, seek knowledge, and how to better understand and live by the word of God. I’m so thankful to have known him. My family will forever be grateful  for him and the church family. May God continue to comfort and provide peace to the family.🕊❤️
