Patricia V. Reed

Mary Patricia Varossa, 80, Memphis Tn. Passed away peacefully on November 6, 2017 at 1:50pm. Born on May 11, 1937 in Savannah Georgia. Her parents Joseph and Hazel (Teague) Varossa were from Memphis Tn. She Graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and later went on to attend college. Working various jobs and gaining experience along the way, she went on to work at Federal Express where she retired after 30 years of service. She attended St. Brigid Catholic Church. She had a very giving heart and often gave to charity. She got great joy out of having family and friends over to visit. She loved to travel, draw, paint, sew, and play the piano. She had a great sense of humor and was quick with speaking her mind. She leaves behind a sister Michelle Rounds (Hal) and a brother Joseph Varossa (Debra), a son Michael J. Reed (Beverly), daughter Holli Stafford. She also leaves behind 2 grandchildren April Reed, and Garrett Stafford, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews, along with many loving friends. She requested to be cremated and her celebration of life gathering will be at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Ave, November 12, 2017 between 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Stroke Association or the American Heart Association.
