Ransom passed away at home on Thanksgiving day. He is survived by his father Jerome A Cottam, mother Debbie Cottam, brother Jerome Cottam, sister Kristen Cottam Widen and son Maddox Cottam. He was preceded in death by his brother Christopher Cottam.
Ransom was a loving thoughtful son who cared deeply about his family. He was always kind and loving. His passions included hunting and fishing with family at Woodland Lake and Tunica Cutoff. Ransom was an excellent marksman at an early age outshooting his father at 10 years old. He loved to cook on the grill and had won a wing cooking contest in 2017. He will be missed greatly by those whose lives he touched.
