

He received his bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College and master’s degree from American University in Washington, DC. His work included roles on the Minuteman missile project with Boeing, the Saturn/Apollo missions with NASA, research projects with Walter Reed, and computer development with the Navy in Millington. He served as president for the Ski Club of Washington and organized volleyball tournaments in Memphis. He attended Hope Church and hosted ballroom dancing classes there for 16 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Vannucci (Joseph) and two grandsons.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 10 at the chapel at Hope Church, Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends and family beginning at 10:30 AM.
A brief graveside service will occur on Friday, October 10 at 2:00 PM, at Fellowship Cemetery, 150 Quito Memorial Cemetery Road, Quito, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in Quito, C/O Fellowship Baptist Church, 4635 Quito Drummonds Road, Millington, Tennessee 38053
