I moved to NOLA area in January and recently learned of Regina's passing. All of you who said Heaven gained an Angel were right. She was a very private person, especially at work. Once, I happened to know she was having a difficult time at work and left a note for her on her desk, it stated, "You can always tell who the strong women are. They are the ones building one another up rather than tearing each other down." Regina was the epidemy of what it means to be a strong woman! She also had a wicked sense of humor, but, you had to be intelligent to understand her humor. I pray strength for her family, you have lost one to young. Rest in peace, Regina. Regina was one of my big sisters when I pledged Delta Sigma Theta in the fall of 1985 when I was a sophomore at LeMoyne Owen College. I remember her as being a soft spoken, determined young lady who was destined for greatness. Although we didn’t keep in touch after she helped me cross those burning sands, I knew she would go on to become a well respected woman. I extend my sincere condolences to the family, her Delta family, friends and loved ones. She kept the faith and has finished her course here on earth. May her sweet soul rest in Heaven. 🔺🐘🔺🙏🏾

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Regina's passing.   I had the opportunity to work with her at the Corps of Engineers prior to my retirement.  My prayers and sympathy to her family.

Condolences and prayers to Regina’s Family.  I was so sorry to hear of her passing.  I became acquainted with her in the 80’s in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.   We bonded  along with her line sisters of Alpha Upsilon where I had also pledged. She encouraged me to run for office in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.    She was such a lovely young lady and served on various committees during my administration.   Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not Heal. Iam so sorry to hear about the passing of Regina and may GOD give her family strength .  

My condolences to all family members and friends. I have been friends with the Kuykendoll family for over 30 years and "Bug" was the youngest. Although we did not see each other that often, she always made me feel a part of the family. Heaven has gained another angel and I know she is having an awesome reunion with her Dad and other family members. Rest in Heaven "Bug" until we meet again. Love you!!!

I am so fortunate to have met Regina, if only on o e occasion. It didn't matter that we had only spoken a few times by telephone before we met.  I knew immediately that she was someone who would always leave a positive lasting impression.  I don't have the words needed to comfort a hurting heart,  but I do know that the Kuykendoll family will surely cling to each other for comfort and strength.  You all will be in my prayers and David knows that he can lean on any of his classmates now or any time in the future.
