Richard grew up in Holcomb, MO. “Dicky Dean” was a standout athlete on the baseball diamond, basketball court and track in high school. He graduated from Southeast Missouri State University where he became a member of his beloved Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity - a brotherhood he cherished and remained active in the rest of his life.
Richard resided in Germantown, TN where he worked in the printing industry for much of his career. He and his family also own and operate The Woodwork Shop in Bartlett, TN.
He was an incredible friend to many. His legacy of having an incredible family and wonderful grandchildren is a testament to a life well-lived.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Berlin, and his oldest son, David Scott Dean Dean.
He is survived by his wife, Rita of Germantown, TN; daughter Carmen (Stephen) of Gallatin, TN; daughter-in-law, Julie of Knoxville, TN; son Michael(Kaylie) of Nashville, TN; and six grandchildren Alexis, Andrew, Matthew, Sydney, James and Sloane.
