Richard A. "Dick" McIntyre

Richard A. "Dick" McIntyre, was 80 years old when he died on Sunday, the 17th of June, 2018. Born on the 12th of September, 1937 in Corinth, MS, Dick was one of three sons born to the late Paul & Johnnie McIntyre. He was an active member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church. He loved shooting and was a member of the N.R.A. Family and friends will gather on Thursday, June 21, from noon until funeral services begin at two o'clock in the afternoon all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Along with his parents Richard was also preceded in death by his brother Max McIntyre. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sue M. McIntyre; daughters Christina Gravlin and Melissa Carr; sons Allan (Susie) McIntyre and Earl (Cindy) Higgins; brother Jim (Frances) McIntyre; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other family members. Any financial offerings in Mr. McIntyre's honor may be offered to Kirby Woods Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
