Robert Darrell Horton, 68, passed away on February 15, 2017 at his home. Robert was born on December 21, 1948 in Memphis to the late Tommy and Marie Horton. He was a life-long Memphian and graduated from Messick High School. He was a cabinet maker and owned his own business Woodworking Specialties, for many years.
Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Horton. He is survived by his sister Jean Clayton and brother-in law, Joe Clayton; daughter Angela Harrington, niece, Jennifer Lowe and a great-nephew, Jase Lowe.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 20 at 11 a.m. at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh LaGrange, Memphis, TN. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel is in charge of the service.
