Robert F. "Bob" Lively

Robert F. “Bob” Lively, 68, of Memphis, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, October 1, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens- Poplar Avenue Chapel, and the family will receive friends beginning at 4 p.m.. Bob was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War, receiving numerous commendations for his service. He retired from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department after 26 years of service, including several years as the President of the Shelby County Deputy Sheriff’s Association. He was President of Courtesy Consultants Corporation for 20 years and was a communicant of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bartlett. Bob is survived by two daughters, Rachelle Grice (Mike) and Candy Lively; his son, Duke Lively (Kristie); six grandchildren, Roby, Shelby, Marissa, Cameron, Natalie, and Julia; his great-grandson, Easton Grice; his mother, Eileen Sha; his sister, Gayle Beck; his fiancée, Loretta Luttrell; his future in-laws, Johnny and Carolyn King; and his future step-son, Justin Luttrell.
