He was preceded by his parents, and his wife.
Robert is survived by his son, Brock Owens (Kathryn), niece, Theresa Owens, of Crossville, TN., cousin Dennis Owens, and second cousin Linda Owens, both of Deposit, NY.
Robert was 20 years retired US Navy and worked 18 years for Holiday Inn, Inc. He was a member of two Masonic Lodges, Scottish Rite on Union for 56 years. He was part of the Al Chymia Temple in Memphis and the American Legion for 55 years.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 2 from 5:00-6:00PM with the funeral to follow at 6:00PM.
The graveside service will be held on Monday, October 4 in Pontotoc Memorial Gardens at 1:00PM.
