Robert “Bob” Smith, 91, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was honored with 5 bronze stars for his courageous service in WWII. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Opal C. Smith and his son, Samuel Edward Smith. He is survived by one daughter, Rose Ann Hogue, Phillip Hogue; and one grandson, Bryan Hogue. Family will receive guest Saturday, July 30th from 12 pm until his service starts at 1 pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave., with burial to follow in Forest Hill Mid-Town.
