Roger Lee Nichols

Lee passed away at his home in Memphis TN on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the age of 58.

Lee had been diagnosed and treated for stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. His battle with the operations required due to the cancer (in remission, July would have been the year mark)

Lee is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Phyllis Rogers.

Lee is survived by the love of his life and hers, Melinda Dean, his partner of 20 years.

Lee is lovingly remembered by his life partner Melinda Dean; brother Richard and wife (Barbara) Nichols of Olympia, WA; sister Kristie Nichols of Bloomington, IL; and “his brother from another mother” Bob Ferguson of North fort Myers, FL and other relatives.

Lee was born in Jacksonville, IL in 1959. He entered the army upon graduation and served in the 82 Airborne, Army serving 8 years. He had many jobs but the most important one to remember him by is home remodeling and painting. Profession he learned from his Dad while growing up.

Lee enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with Melinda, his friends, cooking out, laughing, listening to music, and playing with his dog “Cornbread Earl”
