Ronald Douglas Pierotti Sr.

Ronald “Ronnie” Douglas Pierotti, Sr., 62, of Memphis, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. He was a lifelong Memphian and devout Catholic. He was a graduate of St. Anne Highland grade school, Christian Brothers High School and Memphis State University. Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Judge Horace O. Pierotti. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Dugan Pierotti, his mother Agnes Balestrino Pierotti, children Lauren Pierotti Mitchell (John), Ronald Douglas Pierotti, Jr. (Julie), Brian Patrick Ahern and Megan Ahern Platt (Ben), his precious granddaughter, Marie Clare Pierotti, his brother Richard Wayne Pierotti (Connie), three nephews Nick, Shane and Colt Pierotti, and a much-loved extended family. Ronnie’s love for his family and friends will stay in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Ave. on Thursday, December 6 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. with a Rosary to follow. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Louis Catholic Church on Friday, December 7 at 10 a.m. with a burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
