Ruth R. Patrick

Ruth R. Patrick, 95, died at Primacy Healthcare and Rehab on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Mrs. Patrick was an accomplished hunter and fisherman and a Baptist. She worked many years assisting her husband in the family business. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Mr. Azee Patrick; her sons, Raymond Patrick, and Tommy Britt; and her daughters, Frances Patrick Wright and Dorothy Britt. Surviving is her son, Houston (Ileta) Patrick of Horn Lake; her daughter, Lou Patrick (Frank) Belcher of Ballwin, MO; and her daughters-in-law, Mary Lynn Britt of Memphis, and Anna Patrick of Horn Lake, MS; and a niece, Lillian (Bobby) Nelson of Memphis; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 5599 Poplar Avenue on Friday, Aug 12 from 12:30 - 2. Funeral Services begin at 2:00. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 or the charity of the donor's choice.
