Sandy Phillips

Sandy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Roger Phillips and her daughter, Alexandra Phillips. She has two sisters, Jeanne Payne (George), Bonnie Phifer (Tony) and one brother, Charles Buckner. Sandy had three nephews, Scott Kirkpatrick, Andrew Phifer, and Ben Phifer. She also leaves behind Tylie, her beloved yorkie grand-dog.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and C.A. Buckner.

Sandy graduated from Germantown High School in 1966, where she was chosen Homecoming Queen. She went on and graduated from Memphis State University in 1970 where she was President of Phi Mu Sorority.

Sandy and Roger were married December 4th, 1971 and Alexandra joined the family 13 years later. Along with Roger and Alexandra, Sandy owned and operated Sensational Sofas.

The family will receive friends Tuesday July 18th from 4 - 6 PM at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. Memphis, Tennessee, where a life remembrance service will be held at 6 PM.
