Susan Lyon Paris, 81 of Memphis passed away July 31, 2014. Susan was a member of Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Houston Paris and is survived by her daughters Catherine Shafer (Kenneth) of Memphis, TN, Frances Teer of Marion, KY; grandson, Craig Teer; granddaughter Daphne A. Youngquist of Minneapolis, MN; two nieces; one nephew; one great niece and one great nephew. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 4 from 5-7 pm at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue. A funeral service will be held at 10 am Tuesday, August 5 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mapleview Cemetery in Marion, KY at 11 am on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. Memorials in Susan's honor may be made to the ASPCA or the Mid-South Food Bank.
