Susie Kay Bates

Susie Kay “Sue” Bates (Hutcheson), age 71, formerly of Judsonia Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murl Hutcheson and Bonnie Raines; two sons, Tony Sorrentino and Steve Bates; one granddaughter Layla Sorrentino; and one brother, Ricky Hutcheson.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years Paul Bates; four children, Son Jimmy Armstrong(Kim), Daughter Renae Polk, Son Nathan Sorrentino(Kristi), Daughter Michelle Bates; seven grandsons, Brandon Armstrong, Seth Kelly, Hunter Armstrong, Nieko Sorrentino, Chris Brents, James Murphey, Trent Willis; nine granddaughters, Stacya Polk, Kayla Sorrentino, Myah Sorrentino, Patience Sorrentino, Keileigh Sorrentino, Nicole Bates, Ashley Bates; four siblings, Brother Timmy Hutcheson(Pam), Sister Marsha Ceglarek(Glen), Sister Jovonna Rainey(BJ), Sister Tina Pannell and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm on April 20, 2022 at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis Tennessee 38122. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange, Memphis.
