Born in Dixon County, Virginia, Mrs. Maynard loved gardening, crocheting, and cooking. She was always known as a giver, offering help to everyone who needed it. Thelma loved her family deeply, and she passionately cared for them her entire life.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Jinks "Jim" Maynard; her daughter, Sherry Robin Maynard; and her grandson, Austin Beeman.
Mrs. Maynard's memory will be cherished by her five children, Marshia Karen Robinson, Angela Joy Beeman, Donna Lynn Billingsley, Relanda Dawn Harpster, and Shelley Fawn Maynard; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122, with light refreshments. A funeral service will occur Monday, April 24, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at Family Funeral Care, and graveside services will follow at Helen Crigger Cemetery, 246 Beaver Road, Munford, TN 38058.
