She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dancy.
She is survived by two sons, Derald Dancy and Roland (Melanie) Dancy, two grandchildren, Laura Dancy and Brandon Oxner and two brothers, James Scruggs and Ned Scruggs.
The family will receive friends for sharing of stories and memories, Friday April 17 from 5-7 p.m.; funeral services will be conducted on Saturday April 18, 2015 at 11 a.m.; all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN, internment will follow at Memorial Park Southwoods.
