Violet “Jo” Eleanor Platter, 87, of Memphis, passed away on March 30, 2013. She was a communicant of Christ United Methodist Church. Jo was very respected by her family, friends and neighbors, because of her honesty and her genuine sincerity. Jo was a true example of a Christian lady. She made many friends and loved her family without apology. She leaves her loving and devoted husband of 65 years Harold Edward Platter, her son Ronald Edward Platter, her daughter Patricia Sue Platter. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., on Monday, April 1 at Family Funeral Care.
