Our dearest mother, Virginia L. Sipole, widow of Freeman L. Sipole, passed away Tuesday October 22, 2024. Mama was the daughter of Tyne Leora Neil and James Thomas Kelley. Our Mama is now so happy to be in the arms of Jesus.
We know Mama is now with our Daddy and her loving family waiting in heaven. We would have long talks about how much she missed and loved her family. She had two brothers, William and Reese and three sisters, Lillie, Minnie, and Mildred.
She left four daughters, Beverly Sharon Coney (Myron D.), Wanda Gail Boone (Arthur J. Jr.), Judith Ann Sansone (Anthony J.), and Tania Lee Cox; twelve grandchildren, David J., Steven A., Jennifer L., Beau L., Corey Lee-Ann, Samuel J., Rachel L., Alexandria R., Ricky, Virginia R. (Jenny, her namesake) and Forrest B.; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley, Addison, Mac, Boone, Creed, Ian, Joseph, and Everly; and four great-great grandchildren, Braylin, Bailey Ann, Grayson, and Graham.
Our Mama was such a wise woman. She always had the most common sense advice and answers to our questions. Her strength was amazing both in spirit and body. Mama lived every moment of her 100 years. She worked as a beautician while raising her girls and 'kept the books', as we called it, for our daddy's business. Mama took the greatest pride in being Mother to us four girls. We always knew who was on our side and who we could count on for sound advice and more love than you could imagine.
Mama was blessed with 50+ years with our wonderful Daddy but after he passed she met Harry. They spent 14yrs together until he passed. They had the most wonderful times together traveling, laughing and sharing a beautiful love.
As difficult as Mama's passing is to all of us, we know she is in the most glorious place... Heaven.
Oh how she will be missed! Our hearts are broken but will mend with each memory and sweet loving thought of our Mother, Mama, Mom, Granma, Ma, Granny and great-grandma. Sweet Mama answered to each loving name she was called.

A visitation for Virginia will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119. A committal service will immediately follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134.
