Wanda Lee Giordano

Wanda Lee Giordano of Collierville, TN passed away on August 11, 2013. Born in 1927 in St. Louis, MO., she was preceded in death by her parents, Ora and Hunter Wilson, her brother Millard Wilson and her husband Robert L. Giordano. She is survived by her children, Thomas E. Crawford, Jr. (Kathy) of Memphis; Linda Crawford Hydrick (Pat) of Murfreesboro, TN; Cathie Crawford Brutcher (Charles) of Ocala, FL; John J. Crawford (Janet) of Olive Branch, MS and grandchildren, Jack Hydrick (Melana) and Justin Hydrick of Murfreesboro, TN; Gretchen Crawford Hollingsworth (Lance) of Bartlett, TN; Thomas Crawford, III of Memphis, TN; Jason Crawford of Olive Branch, MS and five great grandchildren. A devoted mother, she was the first secretary of Holy Rosary School Mothers Club. She was active in the American Cancer Society Drive and St. Jude Children's Hospital. An avid golfer, she participated in many tournaments and had three holes-in one. She also enjoyed bowling, playing bocce ball, and travelling. Her favorite destinations were Italy and Switzerland. She and her husband enjoyed retired living in Hot Springs Village, AR, playing beautiful golf courses and playing bocce ball in the Village. Their lake home at Greers Ferry, AR was their favorite place to go boating, skiing, and entertaining family and friends. Memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice.

The funeral will be Wednesday, August 14, 2013, with viewing at 10:30am and mass at 11:30am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 4851 Park Ave. Burial will be at 1:30pm at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd. with a reception to follow in the Family Room at Holy Rosary Church.
