William R.‘Rusty’ Barnes, 57, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Baptist Desoto Hospital. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Poplar Chapel Monday, December 6, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment is private. Mr. Barnes was the owner/operator of Sandblasting & Special Coating. He is survived by his fiancée, Patricia Poff of Southaven; a son, William R. ‘Beau’ Barnes Jr. (Leslie) of Memphis; two sisters Shelley Barnes Miller and Donna Barnes Cannon both of Southaven; a brother Kevin Guy Landrum (Emily) of Bartlett; his step-mother, Wanda d. Barnes of Germantown; and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Fletcher ‘Buddy’ and Doris Anastasia ‘Ann’ Gibbons Barnes. The family requests that memorials be sent to the Shriner's Burn Unit.
