William Dalton “Buzzy” Cook, 67, of Memphis, passed away on April 3, 2016. The family will gather to receive friends with a catered reception on Thursday, April 7, between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m., at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 8, at Family Funeral Care, and interment will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Cook worked for many years at Firestone, and he then began his second career as a financial investment broker. In his spare time, Buzzy was an avid pool player. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Cook; his son, Aldridge Cook; two sisters, Claudia Tidwell and Faye Cook; and his nephew, Daryl Tidwell. Mr. Cook is survived by his daughters, Kristina Cook-Headley (Barrett), Marqin Cook, and Katelyn Cook; his son, Dalton Cook; his grandson, Andrew Headley; two sisters, Frances Smith and Dolores Anderson; two nieces, Tyna Crawford and Dayna Baker; and three great nieces and nephews, Jessyca Baker, Kayla Crawford, and Garrett Crawford.
