William P. "Bill” Crawford Jr. passed away Friday, November 18th at the age of 93 at the VA hospital in Memphis. Bill was a man who loved the Lord and kept his faith. He enjoyed fishing and talking about business. Bill served in World War II with the U.S. Army 84th Infantry Division known as the Railsplitters. He was in the Battle of the Bulge. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Lucy Kathryn Bradley Crawford, the mother of his children, his sisters Hazel Cox, Mary Clark Hulsey, Ruth Crawford, and brothers Pat and George Crawford. Bill is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Jean Howell Crawford, his daughters Debra Crawford-Black (Mike), Nancy Crawford, and Karol Barber(Bob), his step children, Larry and Cindy Howell, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 23rd at Memphis Funeral Home from 12:00PM to 1:00PM with a service to follow.
