

WILLIAM B. PACE was born July 18, 1918 in Coldwater, MS to Mildred Julia Bailey Pace and William Bryant Pace, Sr. Mr. Pace died on December 17, 2011 in Gallatin, Tennessee. He retired from the Corps of Engineers in 1972 where he worked for 34 years. He was a Presbyterian and was a Lifetime member of Memphis Bowling Association. He was inducted into the Memphis Bowling Association Hall of Fame January 1996. William was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mildred Julia Pace Hodges and Vivian Gwendolyn Pace Conner, nephew Melvin Ott Conner (Wendy) and great niece Tracey Annette Conner Huff. He is survived by niece, Sharon Lee Conner Dobbins (John), great- nephew, Jeffrey Lee Dobbins (Tonya), great-niece, Jennifer Lynn Dobbins Sadler (Delvin), all of Gallatin, TN; nephew, Jeffrey Lynn Hodges, niece, Dr. Patricia Ann Hodges, both of Reno, NV; great-nephew William Bryant Conner, great- niece Stacey Lynnette Conner Lundberg (Scott), both of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be Monday, December 19 from 2-7 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Poplar. He will be buried in Elmwood Cemetery.
