Rev. William T. Taylor

Rev. William T. Taylor, 86, of Earle, Arkansas but formerly Memphis, Tennessee, died on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in Marion, Arkansas. A World War II veteran of the Navy & Air Force, Rev. Taylor was a pastor of numerous congregations during his 62 years of service to the Lord. The family will receive guests and friends on Monday, December 23 from 6PM – 8PM and on Tuesday from 10AM until funeral services begin at 11AM all at Barton Chapel Baptist Church located at 189 Barton Road, Tyronza, AR. Burial will follow in Tyronza Cemetery and Pastor Kim Reeder will officiate. Rev. Taylor was preceded in death by his brothers Vernon & Chalmis Taylor, and parents Hattie Taylor McGill and Hershel Taylor. He is survived by his his wife of 66 years and 7 months, Marie Taylor; children Hershel A. Taylor of Illinois, Sharon Bradley (Randy) of Missouri, and Wayne Taylor (Beverly) of Kentucky; eight grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
