

James D. Kellnhauser, age 70 of Menasha, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. On May 10, 1942, James was born in Menasha, the son of the late Hugo and Francis (Endres) Kellnhauser. Jim was drafted and served his country in the US Army. For 41 years, Jim made a career at George Whiting Paper Company. He loved going bowling, golfing and playing cards. The second love of his life was playing BINGO, next to his wife of course. He was a sports fan that enjoyed watching NASCAR, baseball, football, and golf.
Jim will be missed by his loving wife of 46 years, Donna; his children: Timothy (Stephanie) Kellnhauser, Kimberly (fiancé, Don Fritz) Kellnhauser, and Paula Titera. Jim had a very special connection with all of the “babies” of his family and will also be missed by his grandchildren: Ashleigh, Nikkolas, and Zachary Kellnhauser, Nicholas Nelson, Laia, Gabby, and Emilee Spang, Piper Fritz, Jacob and Kaycee Jo Titera; his great-grandchildren: William Messman, Skylar Sokel, Lydia Spang; his sisters, Ann (Jim) Potratz, Joan (Dave) Baribeau; his Washington family, other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha, with Rev. Lynne Spencer-Smith officiating. The Memorial Gathering will be held from 2:00 pm until the hour of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association in Jim’s name at 375 Bishops Way, Suite 220, Brookfield, WI 53005.
Jim’s family would like to extend a special thank you to his sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Jim for hosting many nightly card games, it kept him entertained!
