

Jennifer K. Wojcik, 41, of Menasha, WI, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Jenny was born in Appleton, WI on June 3, 1970 to Frederick and Judith (Miller) Johnson. She graduated from Menasha High School, class of 1988. Jenny married Carl J. Wojcik on November 29, 1990 and they had two wonderful sons together, Jacob, 21 and Benjamin, 19. Jenny worked as a nurse’s aide for many years before attending Madison Area Technical College, where she earned an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy. As a licensed RT, she worked for the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, WI for 5 years and Grand View Hospital in Ironwood, MI for 1 year.
Jenny and Carl loved exploring the many wonders of their new home in Upper Michigan. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and taking her dogs for long walks. Jenny had a special knack for writing beautiful poetry and compelling short stories.
Jenny is lovingly survived by her husband, Carl; sons: Jacob and Benjamin; mother, Judith (Fritz) Tydrich; father, Frederick (Jan) Johnson; grandmother, Hilda Renner; sisters: Christine Leitzke, Melanie (Bryan Herman) Nimmo, and Sommer Loar; brother Steven (Suzana) Johnson; mother and father in-law, Val (Vivian) Wojcik; brothers in-law, Joe (Laura), George (Donna), John (Wendy) Wojcik, and sister in-law, Vicki (Dan) Pedersen; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Jenny was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Christopher Leitzke.
“No farewell words were spoken, no time to say good-bye. You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. Since you’ll never be forgotten, we pledge to you today, a hallowed place within our hearts is where you’ll always stay.”
Funeral Services for Jenny will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2012 at the Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, with Deacon Rick Dvorak officiating. Friends will be welcomed for visitation on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
