Mary Lucille Holewinski

After a full, beautiful enriched life, mom has now gone to rest. Mary passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, with her family at her side. On July 8, 1929, Mary was born the daughter of the late Arnold and Mabel Carpenter. She was united in marriage to Oliver Holewinski on January 15, 1949 in Navarino; he preceded her in death on December 21, 2008. For over 18 years, Mary worked for Modern Manufacturing and retired in 1993. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Menasha and also the Rosary Society.

Mary will be missed by her loving daughters: Catherine (Alex) Sikander and Theresa (Tom) Lienhardt; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Gary (Ellen) Carpenter; two sisters: Anna Marie (Chuck) Siroin, Rita Page; a sister-in-law, Nancy Carpenter; brother-in-law, Alex Niespodzany; daughter-in-law, Katherine, and other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Allen Holewinski and his daughter, Tammy; two brothers: Earl and Daniel Carpenter; and a sister, Ruth (Ray) Schroeder.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 516 De Pere Street, Menasha, with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the hour of the Mass at the church. Interment will take place in St. John Cemetery, Town of Menasha. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial will be established.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and love to Mary’s caregivers: Jenny Peterson, Salley Bauer, Eileen Buchanan, the Nowak Family, all of her grandchildren

and Jensen’s Group.
