Ronald Paul Orth

Ronald Paul Orth, age 74, passed away suddenly after a long illness with family by his side on Friday, November 18, 2011. He was born in Rock Island, Illinois on October 4, 1937, the son of the late John and Zelma (Brecht) Orth. After graduating high school, Ron served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. On July 18, 1959, he was united in marriage to Effie Bugauison. Ron loved to fish, hunt and play golf. He was employed and retired from the Wisconsin State Employees Union. Ron was very dedicated to his family. He loved his children and was very proud of them and thought the world of his grandchildren. Ron also had many dear friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Ron is lovingly survived by his beloved wife, Effie Orth of Menasha; son, Duane (Patti) Orth; daughter, Donna Marie (John) Sams; grandchildren: Caitlin, Marissa and Josh; great-granddaughter, Winter; brother, Burgess; sister, Jackie, step-grand-daughters: Brittany and Caitlin; sister-in-law, Terry (Chris) and many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Beryle and many aunts and uncles.

The funeral service for Ronald will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Fox Valley Christian Fellowship, 1200 W. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly with the Rev. Steve Nickel officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
