He was preceded, in death, by Mother, Rosanne, and Daughter, Sarah. Surviving him are his wife and partner of 16 years, Ann; Father, Richard (Susan); Brother, Craig (Stacy), (Nieces), Kayla and Hayley; Sister, Krista (Niece) Ava, and Sister, Kylie (Josh), (Niece) Samantha and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
When Chad was 20, he suffered a traumatic brain injury, which caused lifelong effects. He suffered from constant headaches, memory loss, and seizures, which would have been debilitating to most people. That said, he met Ann, the love of his life, through his lifelong friend, Sam Mance. Their relationship meant Chad "would no longer be alone.” With Ann by his side, he navigated life on his terms.
Chad beat to his own drum. He thought deeply about every decision he made. He was like a clock; his gears were always turning. He confided in few but those he did confide in were so special to him that no words can describe. His sense of humor was an acquired taste. He was a down-to-earth, unconventional character who loved to get a reaction from people. Chad had the heart of a vagabond but his truest love was the desert sand dunes. He was a dependable, loyal and reliable friend.
