Constance "Connie", a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025 in Winchester, California. Born on November 28, 1946, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to parents Mildred Daniels and Leroy Daniels, Connie lived a life filled with love and laughter that touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Devoted to her family, Connie’s dedication to our Lord Jesus Christ can not be understated. She worked closely with Pastor Winters and the Bayview Baptist Church family for over four decades where she forged everlasting friendships. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bobby "Steve" Stephenson, her parents, two brothers Ennis “Dan” Daniels and Don Henry Daniels. Connie is survived by her two beloved children: Stephanie Stephenson and Eric Stephenson, as well as her cherished best friend, Bernice Terry. Her legacy continues through her family tree—sisters Carolynn "Carol" Brown, and Sharon "Sue" Mondy, and brother Clifford Daniels (Patrice)—and extends further with the joy of niece Melanie Thompson, and nephew Donald Thompson, grandniece Brechon Plummer, grandnephew Kingston Bell, all of Fort Worth, Texas. A loving family is a testament to Connie's enduring spirit.
Family was everything to Connie. She found immense joy in spending time with loved ones and friends—whether it was sharing stories around the dinner table or celebrating milestones together—this was one of her favorite pastimes filled with laughter and camaraderie. These moments were not just fun with Connie but opportunities to create lasting memories that will be treasured forever. Connie's warmth radiated from within her home into the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. As we mourn the loss of such a remarkable woman who brought so much joy and light into our lives through simple acts of love and generosity—we also celebrate all that she accomplished during her time here.
Though she may have left this world physically behind us too soon—the impact she made will resonate throughout generations yet unborn. In every shared laugh among family members reminiscing about their times together—in every hug exchanged with family and friends remembering their beloved "Connie".
And in each story told about how fiercely she loved them all—Constance Anita Daniels Stephenson will live on eternally within our hearts.
As we say goodbye today let us remember not only what we've lost but also cherish what we've gained from knowing such an extraordinary soul whose presence enriched our lives immeasurably and will be sorely missed.
